Trick Flow® GenX® 220 Cylinder Heads for GM LS2
Trick Flow GenX® 220 cylinder heads for GM 6.0L LS2 engines are the best value in GM LS performance. The cathedral port heads incorporate features of Trick Flow’s fully CNC-ported LS heads such as 13.5° valve angles, decreased valve shrouding, increased mid-lift airflow, relocated spark plugs, CNC-profiled combustion chambers with port-to-valve seat blending (bowl blending), improved rocker arm/ valve cover clearance, and rigid casting design in a more affordable “Fast As Cast” version that flows nearly as much air as Trick Flow’s competition ported heads. The special Fast As Cast® runner design duplicates the port shape and profile of fully CNC-ported runners, resulting in near-CNC-ported performance for the same price as regular cast cylinder heads. Trick Flow GenX 220 cylinder heads are emissions-legal under CARB E.O. #D-747 for 1997-present GM vehicles with 5.7L and 6.0L engines. They are available fully assembled or as bare castings. Trick Flow® GenX® 280 Cylinder Heads for GM LS3
Building on the features that make the GenX® 255 for GM LS3 great—like 12° valve angles and relocated valves for reduced valve shrouding and improved piston-to-valve clearance—Trick Flow's GenX® 280 HIP cylinder heads withstand the abuse of high horsepower, power-adder performance demanded by today's racers and engine builders. The GenX® 280 heads list of features is long, and it starts with the HIP'd (Hot Isostatic Pressed) castings. This process significantly increases the casting's density for improved tensile and fatigue strength. It continues with industry leading airflow through CNC Competition Ported 280cc intake ports and Trick-Alloy™ powdered metal valve guides for added longevity. Manley Severe Duty intake valves and Extreme Duty Inconel exhaust valves are designed to withstand the abuse of extreme temperatures and stresses of big power adder applications. Trick Flow® by PAC Racing dual valve springs, titanium retainers, .750-inch thick deck, and 6-bolt-per-cylinder mounting pattern round out the features. Trick Flow® GenX® 280 HIP cylinder heads for GM LS3 work with all LS3 intake manifolds and LS9/LSA blower assemblies and fit all LS head gasket and engine block combinations. These cylinder heads are available fully assembled or as bare castings. Sold individually. Trick Flow® GenX® 225 Cylinder Heads for GM LS2
These Trick Flow GenX® 225 cathedral port cylinder heads for GM 6.0L LS2 engines are fully CNC-machined to significantly increase the performance of LS2-powered cars and trucks. Trick Flow engineers altered the valve angles from 15° to 13.5° to decrease valve shrouding, increase mid-lift airflow, and improve rocker arm-to-valve cover clearance. Material was added at the rocker arm mounting points to increase high-rpm valvetrain stability. The spark plugs were relocated in the CNC-profiled combustion chambers to enhance mid-lift airflow and increase the rigidity of the casting for extreme horsepower applications. Top-of-the-line CNC Competition Ported runners have a premium high resolution surface finish for maximum flow and performance. Trick Flow GenX 225 cylinder heads are emissions-legal under CARB E.O. #D-747 for 1997-present GM vehicles with 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, and 6.0L engines. They are available fully assembled or as bare castings. Sold individually.
