The manifolds have CAD-optimized, large open plenums and one-piece, single plane runners. Special attention was paid to smooth airflow for equalized air and fuel distribution. Casting the manifolds in lightweight A319 aluminum delivers a substantial weight reduction. Extra material around the port openings allows for port matching and/or full porting. Integral bosses cast into each runner can be drilled and tapped to accept nozzles for nitrous applications. And if all these features don’t convince you that Trick Flow® R-Series intake manifolds mean business, the Holley 4500 Dominator carburetor flanges surely will.
While designed to produce maximum power with Trick Flow’s® PowerPort 270 and 295 cylinder heads, the R-Series manifolds also perform extremely well on engines equipped with other brands of cylinder heads with 270cc and larger intake ports.
