Nostalgic appearance—check. Modern performance—check. The best of both—checkmate! Trick Flow’s DHC 175 cylinder heads give small block Chevy enthusiasts a new performance option. No longer will anyone have to choose between vintage looks or modern cylinder head power—with DHC 175 heads you get both! DHC 175 heads are made from premium grade A356-T61 aluminum and have the exterior styling and straight spark plug holes that deliver the nostalgic appearance customers want. On the inside, 60cc CNC-profiled combustion chambers with blended bowl machining under the valves and small cross-section intake runners promote low-RPM torque increases and boost high-RPM horsepower. The runners are finished with Trick Flow’s superior Fast As Cast® process that precisely duplicates the runner profile and performance levels of fully CNC-ported heads without the added machining cost. In keeping with the vintage design, the heads are available with or without accessory bolt holes cast into them. Other performance improvements include bronze alloy valve guides, ductile iron valve seats, and multi-angle valve seat machining on precision Serdi® equipment. Plus, the decks and walls are cast extra thick to increase casting strength and provide plenty of material for future porting. Trick Flow® Super 23® 175 Cylinder Heads for Small Block Chevrolet
Trick Flow® Super 23® 175 cylinder heads vastly outperform factory small block Chevy heads on 283-350 c.i.d. engines. They feature small cross section, Fast as Cast® runners for excellent port velocity to promote low-end torque and a profile that delivers outstanding flow for making ample high RPM horsepower on small bore engines. Modern CNC-profiled chambers promote combustion efficiency. That helps maximize power with less ignition timing and reduces the potential for detonation. It all adds up to more power, better drivability, and greater throttle response on street performance engines. Improved A356-T61 castings now feature 3/4" thick decks for additional strength and durability. Other features include a competition multi-angle valve job, angled spark plugs, and raised valve cover rails for improved rocker arm clearance and less potential for oil leaks. Assembled cylinder heads have premium components including stainless steel valves, bronze valve guides, 7° machined locks, and chromoly retainers. Several PAC Racing valve spring options are available for flat tappet and hydraulic roller cams. Trick Flow® Super 23® 175 heads accept most original accessories. Trick Flow’s legendary Twisted Wedge 170 series cylinder heads are back and better than ever! The updated A356-T61 machined castings are borrowed from Trick Flow’s 11R series head lineup, bringing with it increased strength thanks to a .625" thick deck and a great-looking, billet-like appearance. The groundbreaking Twisted Wedge combustion chamber moves the intake valves away from the cylinder walls to reduce valve shrouding and significantly enhance high-lift flow. Altered 15° intake/17° exhaust valve angles tighten the combustion chamber to increase compression while improving piston-to-valve clearance. That allows the use of higher lift cams with stock pistons. CNC-profiled combustion chambers with relocated spark plug locations optimize combustion efficiency, extracting more power with less ignition timing and reducing the potential for detonation. Trick Flow® PowerPort® 190 Cylinder Heads for Small Block Mopar
Horsepower fans know that Trick Flow is all about developing products that provide maximum performance, such as the PowerPort® 190 cylinder heads for small block Mopar. The heads fit all non-emissions, LA and Magnum-series 318, 340, and 360 engines used through 2003. That’s right, even Magnum owners can now use readily available LA engine parts such as intake manifolds and valve covers. Like all of Trick Flow’s top-quality cylinder heads, the PowerPort 190 heads are made from A356-T61 aluminum because it’s much lighter but still every bit as strong as cast iron. The intake runners have been enhanced to increase airflow, and both intake and exhaust runners feature Trick Flow’s special CNC Street Ported treatment that combines premium quality CNC machining with a standard resolution finish that‘s perfect for making more power. Newly designed rocker arm shaft mounting bosses are stronger than the OE design, and larger diameter pushrod holes have been incorporated to accommodate 3/8" pushrods for use with flat tappet and hydraulic roller camshafts. Trick Flow engineers altered the valve angles from 15° to 13.5° to decrease valve shrouding, increase mid-lift airflow, and improve rocker arm-to-valve cover clearance.
