58X/4X camshaft sensor. The CNC-machined cam gear has nine crank sprocket keyways for zero and +/- 2°, 4°,6°, or 8° timing adjustments. The timing marks are laser-etched. When installing a double roller timing chain and gears in an LS engine, the oil pump is spaced out from the block for clearance. On most applications, this will create a clearance issue between the timing cover and oil pump. Test fit and grind as needed for clearance, before final assembly.
