Trick Flow Twisted Wedge® Track Heat® 185 Cylinder Heads for Ford 4.6L/5.4L 2V

AKRON, OH—One of the most talked about new products in late-model Ford performance is now available in a beefed-up version for forced induction or high-rpm applications. Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Track Heat 185 Cylinder Heads for Ford 4.6L/5.4L 2V combine Trick Flow's popular Twisted Wedge 185 Cylinder Heads with stout 125 pound rated (at 1.600" installed height) valve springs to handle additional power and high-rpm duty.

The heads offer the same great features of the Trick Flow Twisted Wedge 185 Cylinder Heads introduced last year--patented Twisted Wedge combustion chamber design, OE PI-style intake inlets, patented Fast As Cast™ 185cc intake/93cc exhaust runners, fully CNC-profiled combustion chambers, and more--plus stouter 1.000" intake/1.060" O.D. exhaust beehive valve springs to withstand up to .580" of valve lift.

Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Track Heat 185 Cylinder Heads utilize a Twisted Wedge combustion chamber design, which moves the intake valve to the opposite side of the camshaft. The result is a dramatic increase in mid-lift airflow and increased piston-to-valve and valve-to-bore clearance to allow higher cam lifts. The Fast As Cast runners and CNC-profiled combustion chambers offer excellent airflow at an affordable price. Other features include bulletproof 3/4" thick decks, four-bolt replaceable cam bearing journals, full 3/4"-reach spark plugs, 1.840"/1.450" valves, powdered metal valve guides, ductile iron valve seats, lightweight chromemoly retainers and die-forged locks, and Viton® fluoroelastomer valve seals.

Available with 38cc or 44cc combustion chambers, Twisted Wedge Track Heat 185 heads fit all 1996-2004 4.6L/5.4L 2V Romeo and Windsor engines and accept all OE-type 2V camshafts, followers, lash adjusters, and valve covers.
