AKRON, OH—In 2009, the airflow experts at Trick Flow Specialties teamed up with the supercharger experts at Magnuson to create Trick Flow by Magnuson Superchargers. Now, Trick Flow has expanded its line of supercharger systems to add up to 150 horsepower to these vehicles:

• 2007-08 Silverado/Sierra 6.0L/6.2L
• 2007-08 Escalade/Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban/Avalanche 6.0L/6.2L
• 2008-early 2009 Pontiac G8 6.0L
• 2007-09 Silverado/Sierra 4.8L/5.3L

At the core of the system is the Magnuson supercharger, which has a Roots design upgraded with intermeshed helical rotors and special port geometry to increase power with original equipment quietness and reliability and no adverse effects on fuel economy. The supercharger is overdriven for instantaneous boost off-idle, and an internal bypass valve eliminates part throttle power loss. Rounding out the features is a self-contained lubrication system. The systems include a cast aluminum intake manifold, air-to-water intercooler, high capacity fuel injectors (EFI systems only), plumbing, wiring harnesses, brackets, hardware, and a programmer (depending on the application) to properly calibrate your ECU.
