TRICK FLOW SPECIALTIES INTRODUCES NEW GM LSX-R HEADS FOR PROFESSIONAL CYLINDER HEAD PORTERS

AKRON, OH—Professional cylinder head porters can now team up with the horsepower experts at Trick Flow Specialties’ to deliver serious horsepower to late-model GM engines. Trick Flow’s new LSX-R Cylinder Heads for GM LSX 6-bolt engines come as un-ported bare castings, with enough port wall thickness for professional CNC-porting.

Trick Flow LSX-R Cylinder Heads feature interlocking valve seats and reinforced deck surfaces to make the deck more rigid and allow for the largest head gasket bores. The bronze valve guides can be sized to 5/16" or 8mm; the ductile iron seats are 2.200"/1.600" in diameter. The heads’ .100" raised spring pockets and matching raised geometry mean more material for larger ports, and the .500" raised valve cover rails accommodate aftermarket rocker arms. Trick Flow LSX-R Cylinder Heads can be run with +.100" length 8mm valves for hydraulic roller cam applications to yield a 1.800" installed height, or 5.160" length valves for solid roller cam applications to yield a 2.000" installed height.
