Building King Daddy 520 cubic inches ... As the saying goes, there's no substitute for 'em. And for those of you who like your cubic inches Blue Oval style, the last Stroker's Wild engine has them - 520 cubic inches worth, to be exact.

Punch an ordinary 460 out to 520 c.i.d. without spending your kid's college fund (or your own). The combination is based on a brand new, 4.300 in. stroke, Summit cast crankshaft designed to work with -- take a deep breath, Ford purists -- 6.700 in. long big block Chevy-style connecting rods, such as Trick Flow forged rods. No block clearancing or other trick stuff is required; other than Chevy rod bearings and a set of custom Arias flattop pistons, the rest of the engine is built with off-the-shelf Ford performance parts.

Of course, those off-the-shelf parts are pretty good: Trick Flow Specialties A460 aluminum heads and intake, Crane roller cam and valvetrain, Holley 1,150 cfm Dominator, MSD crank trigger and distributor, and Hedman Husler headers. All together, they make for a very potent package. How potent, you ask? You'll have to wait until the big dyno super-session, when the 520 and its small block 347 and 393 cube brothers get thrashed until they deliver the big numbers.
